Story: Christmas with a pumpkin flavor

December 24th arrived and Tina was so excited to receive a visit from Santa Claus, but she was also worried and sad at the same time because she had no cookies or milk to wait for him. 

So, she thought, I'll be crossed off his list of good girls! 

Tina, worried, went to look in her pantry for something to prepare, but the only thing she found in abundance were pumpkins, then she thought: What if I wait for him with different dishes of food with pumpkin flavor? 

She ran out of the kitchen and asked her mom and grandma if they could make a feast with all the pumpkins in the kitchen to welcome Santa Claus and they both said Yes. The 3 of them put on their aprons and began to prepare exquisite and appetizing food dishes. 

Soups, pies, muffins, and cookies decorated the table. There was a mix of colors between the green of the Christmas tablecloth and the orange of the main ingredient, «pumpkin». 

Night came and Santa Claus was fascinated and surprised by everything that could be prepared with pumpkins. He tasted everything and continued handing out toys. 

Fortunately, Tina's concern vanished when she heard everything was delicious, especially the pumpkin cookies with her silhouette. Everyone smiled. 

The following year, Tina sent Santa Claus a letter with her wish list, but this time she didn't just want gifts, she also wanted Santa Claus to share the same Christmas table so she could tell him about all her little mischief and enjoy a pumpkin-flavored Christmas together.

Cuento: La navidad con sabor a calabaza

Llegó 24 de Diciembre y Tina estaba tan emocionada de recibir la visita de Papá Noel, pero también estaba preocupada y triste, porque no tenía galletas, ni leche para esperarlo. 
Entonces, ella pensó: ¡Ahora estaré tachada en su lista de los niños buenos! 

Tina preocupada, fue a buscar en su alacena algo para preparar, lo único que encontró en abundancia fue calabazas, entonces ella pensó: Y si le espero con diferentes platos de comida con sabor a calabaza?. 

Salió corriendo de la cocina y le preguntó a su mamá y abuelita, si podrían preparar un banquete con todas las calabaza que había en la cocina para recibir a Papá Noel y ambas dijeron que sí. 
Las 3 se colocaron sus mandiles y empezaron a preparar exquisitos y opetitosos platos de comida. 

Sopas, pie, muffins, galletas adornaron la mesa navideña, hubo una mezcla de colores entre el color verde del mantel y el color naranja del ingrediente principal «La calabaza». 

Llegó la noche y Papá Noel quedó fascinado y sorprendido de todo lo que se podía preparar con la calabaza, degustó todo y continuó con la repartición de juguetes. 

Afortunadamente, la preocupación de Tina se esfumó cuando escuchó decir que todo estaba riquísimo, especialmente las galletas de calabaza con su silueta, todos sonrieron. 

Al siguiente año, Tina le envió a Papá Noel, una carta con su lista de deseos, pero esta vez no quería solo regalos, sino también deseaba que compartiera la misma mesa navideña, contarle sus pequeñas travesuras y degustar juntos la navidad con sabor a calabaza.

Ilustración de Paola Arévalo Story: Little eco-friendly monsters When man first set foot on the Moon, the place's inhabitants were surprised to see, for the first time, a spaceship, especially a  human .  The day the spaceship started its engine to return to  Earth , a group of intrepid little monsters hid in the back of the spaceship,  when they landed, the  little monsters  came out of hiding to find a new hiding place. They lived for many years observing the behavior of humans, they copied some gestures and attitudes and they ate pizza, hamburgers, and Coca-Cola.  Over time they began to reproduce and had their own family, but they did everything in their world called «Terra» away from humans.  The little monsters realized that both species were different and, afraid of not being accepted on Earth, they lived in hiding.
