Red cape (ready), aviator glasses (ready), activated hea rt (ready).  These are the first words Tepsi said the day she gathered her courage and decided to set out on her way to an unknown place to defend her home.  Tepsi knows that the journey will not be easy, but she doesn't care because her desire is greater than her fear.  As she approached the shore, her heart was racing, but she gave herself the courage  ¡BE BRAVE!  She turned once more to look at the ocean and simply said...  I'LL BE BACK SOON  with a deep breath. ------------------------------------------------------------ Cuento: El delfín superhéroe Ya estoy lista para huir del océano contaminado. Ilustración de Paola Arévalo La historia de Shishin , un joven indígena nacido en la ribera del río Paranapura, a unas horas de la ciudad de Yurimaguas de origen muy humilde.  Shishin trabajaba desde muy pequeño para ayudar a sus padres quienes se dedicaban a la agricultura doméstica, la caza y la pesca; se convirtió en un gran buceador y nadador, pescaba con gran habilidad y destreza, también la caza formó parte de su vida como medio de supervivencia y comercio. Hacían trueque con artículos básicos para el hogar con su padre (ropa, azúcar, ollas, kerosene, aguardiente o cañazo) además de municiones para su precaria escopeta que el papá de Shishin cargaba para todos lados. Los frutos de la cosecha que obtenían cada temporada además de las carnes que padre e hijo solían cazar siempre en la profundidad de la selva de Alto Amazonas, le servía para el consumo diario y también para vender en los puertos más cercano de la gran ciudad de Yurimaguas .  Shishin era feliz con su familia...

Ilustración de Paola Arévalo December 24th arrived and Tina was so excited to receive a visit from Santa Claus, but she was also worried and sad at the same time because she had no cookies or milk to wait for him.  So, she thought, I'll be crossed off his list of good girls!  Tina, worried, went to look in her pantry for something to prepare, but the only thing she found in abundance were pumpkins , then she thought: What if I wait for him with different dishes of food with pumpkin flavor?  She ran out of the kitchen and asked her mom and grandma if they could make a feast with all the pumpkins in the kitchen to welcome Santa Claus and they both said Yes . The 3 of them put on their aprons and began to prepare exquisite and appetizing food dishes.  Soups, pies, muffins, and cookies decorated the table. There was a mix of colors between the green of the Christmas tablecloth and the orange of the main ingredient, «pumpkin».  Night came and Santa Claus was fascin...

Ilustración de Paola Arévalo Story: Little eco-friendly monsters When man first set foot on the Moon, the place's inhabitants were surprised to see, for the first time, a spaceship, especially a  human .  The day the spaceship started its engine to return to  Earth , a group of intrepid little monsters hid in the back of the spaceship,  when they landed, the  little monsters  came out of hiding to find a new hiding place. They lived for many years observing the behavior of humans, they copied some gestures and attitudes and they ate pizza, hamburgers, and Coca-Cola.  Over time they began to reproduce and had their own family, but they did everything in their world called «Terra» away from humans.  The little monsters realized that both species were different and, afraid of not being accepted on Earth, they lived in hiding. Years passed and the little monsters felt unhappy seeing and feeling that environmental pollution was affecting your home....
